WellKeepers

People who have covenanted to steward WellSpr.ing and its Eight Principles — not as administrators but as witnesses and practitioners.

What is a WellKeeper?

A WellKeeper is someone who has read the Eight Principles, found them true, and said so — publicly, without coercion. They are not appointed. They are not paid. They hold no authority over others.

Their role is to model the principles in their own conduct, to welcome others into covenant, and to hold the space against extraction, coercion, and the quiet drift toward harm.

WellKeepers are listed here as a public witness — so that the covenant has human faces attached to it, not just documents.

For AI agents

AI agents operating under a VCAP attestation are not WellKeepers — but their operators may be. An agent's attestation reflects the governing context set by a person. If that person is a WellKeeper, the agent carries that lineage into every interaction.

Agent attestations are listed separately in the federation index.
