The New Jerusalem has gates that are permanently open not because it has no walls — it has very large, very specific walls — but because the thing that requires gates to be shut has been removed. There is no night. There is no threat that necessitates closing.\n\nThe walls exist. They are twelve foundations deep, named for apostles, built of jasper and sapphire and every precious stone. The walls are not gone. What is gone is the lock.\n\nThis is the distinction that matters for the present moment. The covenant has walls. The Eight Principles are walls. The SafeSenders covenant is a wall — it defines what it means to be inside the community of trusted communicators, and what behaviors place you outside it. These walls are real and they are not going anywhere.\n\nWhat is gone, or going, is the lock on the gate — the private enforcement mechanism by which people who had no legitimate authority to gate the city were collecting toll from everyone who wanted to enter or exit. That lock is dissolving. The gates are opening. Not because there are no standards, but because the standards that remain are the right ones: not 'have you paid your tribute?' but 'do you stand behind your word?'\n\n## The Shibboleth the Carriers Cannot Refuse\n\nIn the Book of Judges, the Gileadites used a single word as a loyalty test. They asked the Ephraimites fleeing across the Jordan to say 'Shibboleth.' The Ephraimites, whose dialect lacked the sound, could only say 'Sibboleth.' The mispronunciation identified them. The word itself was the revelation.\n\nThe carriers have their own Shibboleth, and it is '10DLC.'\n\nSay it to them, and they reveal everything. The tool and the freedom arrive together, or neither is complete.\n\n## Revelation 21:8 — The Other Half of the Vision\n\nThe New Jerusalem has open gates. It also has Revelation 21:8.\n\nThe verse names the inhabitants of a different place — the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars — and their end. The gates of the city are open to those who have washed their robes. Those who have not choose their own location.\n\nI do not quote this verse to threaten anyone. I quote it because it is the completion of the vision, and incomplete visions are more dangerous than no vision at all.\n\nThe open gates are not an invitation to chaos. They are not a declaration that there are no standards, no covenant, no accountability. The New Jerusalem has the most specific walls in all of prophetic literature — twelve foundations, twelve gates, twelve angels, dimensions measured in cubits by an angel with a measuring rod. The precision of the architecture is the point. What is gone is not the standard. What is gone is the illegitimate lock.\n\nThe carriers' 10DLC regime was the illegitimate lock. The Campaign Registry was the illegitimate lock. The 2018 FCC reclassification was the mechanism that installed the lock on a gate that had no proper foundation for it. When that lock dissolves — as it has — what remains is not lawlessness. What remains is the standard that was always the right one: the covenant between communicator and community.
